QA Analyst (IT)

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute test plan, and test cases that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications
• Test application to ensure it meets functional and UI/UX requirements and is fit for user acceptance test (UAT)
• Report to Team Head and work closely with teammates & other dev team, collaborate with software engineer in application testing
• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance test, and provide support to key users (e.g. logging defects, following up the progress of defect fixing with 
• Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance/testing best practices

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in information technology or related disciplines
• 1-3 years of work experience in similar role (entry level - mid level)
• Exposure to web-based application and mobile application
• Knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies
• Experienced in using testing tools and writing test scripts for automation test will be an advantage

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good command of both written and spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and layman’s terms
• A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of project management lifecycle & methodologies is a definite advantage
• Understanding of IT architecture, integration and design, and IT operations is a definite advantage
