Backend Engineer

BOXS is a Hong Kong-based technology startup providing SMART Business solutions to manage, optimize and enhance business processes.

Currently BOXS range of technologies provides solutions for retail, restaurants, education centers, and other business segments.

We are looking for Backend Engineer to join the Development Team. The team is responsible for providing engaging and delightful experiences for our Web, iOS, and Android applications. We do that while striving to build modern, extensible, and robust applications. Building on node.js, the applications use such technologies as Vue, MongoDB, Docker, React Native, Expo, Swift, Java, Rust and other. You will join the team in the design, development, maintenance, and monitoring of these applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Programmer for backend development
• Responsible for iOS, Android mobile Apps technical design, development, enhancement, maintenance and testing etc.
• Collaborate with project managers, UX designers, programmers and quality assurance to deliver projects.
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• 5 Days a week (negotiable)
• Flexible working hour (usually starting from 10 am)

*Qualifications

• Degree holder in Computer Science, I.T. or related disciplines
• Fresh Graduate is welcomed
• 1 year or above relevant working experience in iOS or Android apps development will be an advantage
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Knowledge in App Development, React Native for iOS & Android will be an advantage
• Knowledge in Node.js and MongoDB will be an advantage
• A strong sense in Object-Oriented Concept
• Able to work in team
