Job Description
Job Purpose:
Building and leading the Corporate Communications Teams to build a strong brand in align with the group direction through developing effective communication strategy. He/ She will also be responsible for steering a range of proactive communications functions for the The Group including media relations, incident communications, Publication and event management
Responsibilities:
* Leading the Group in external communications effectively and proactively,
* Design the Corporate Communications strategy and well connected media work
* Ensure all corporate communication materials including releases, newsletters, annual report and publications including but not limited to website and social media platform, for image building and information dissemination, align with the Group policies
* Keep update on latest development on communication channels and social media and advise effective approach for communications
* Working closely with the group‘s Legal department ensuring the group’s media exposures and publications are complied with any regulatory body regarding to the various business lines of the group, including but limited to, SFC, HKIA, and EAA
Requirements:
* Recognised University degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related discipline
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in communications preferably gained from listco or financial institutes, with at least 5 years’ at managerial level and above
* Good knowledge about listco and financial industry, HNW market and asset management
* Proven experience in incident management, project management and execution
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; high proficiency in written English and Chinese and spoken Putonghua
* Strong critical thinking; analytical mind and excellent relationship with media
* Proactive and good at people coordination and team collaboration
* Flexible and able to work under Irregular work times to meet urgent deadlines or in times of emergency response
Contract Period: 2 years (renewable)
