Procurement officer (5 days work)

Responsibilities:

• Determine company needs by coordinating with internal departments
• Assess market conditions, explore and source new potential suppliers to widen the supply base
• Develop procurement strategy based on company needs and scope
• Evaluate the tender result in terms of specification, schedule, cost, safety, mitigation plan
• Responsible for purchasing through dealing and negotiating with external suppliers for high quality products under cost efficiency
• Ensure the technical specifications comply with international and domestic safety and quality standards
• Closely communicate with vendors on the status tracking of production and delivery schedule
• Responsible for day-to-day merchandising operations
• In coordination with the Department Heads, produces up-to-date overviews of outstanding requests regularly and upon request, including adequate information about expected delivery lead times

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years experiences in the procurement. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Procurement Assistant. 
• Excellent negotiation skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical disciplines both internally and externally
• Bachelor degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering is an advantage
• Proven ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal and external key stakeholders
• Very strong price and terms negotiation skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Immediate availability is preferable
