The International Data Center Authority (IDCA) has been established to streamline, structure, educate and give direction to the information technology industry. IDCA’s core mission is to aid in standardizing the approach, selection, design, feasibility, operation, and various processes and methodologies of the Application Ecosystem®. Formed by industry veterans who realized the problems facing the industry and decided to do something about it, IDCA has perceptively identified the gaps and shortcomings of the rapidly evolving cloud, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT, big data, and data center industry.

IDCA is the organization solely focused on the Application Ecosystem® which is inclusive of cloud, AI, blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT, big data, and data center, and more to conduct research, develop standards, provide education, and
offer certification of the entire Application Ecosystem®, its components, infrastructure, and equipment as well as professionals.

IDCA works with its partners and affiliates around the globe to achieve the optimum delivery of its advanced services locally and effectively at every project. IDCA is represented in over 40 countries and active globally in North America,
South America, Western Europe, Middle East, Eastern Europe, West Africa, North Africa, East Africa, Central, and South Africa, South East Asia, and the Asia Pacific. 

IDCA is now seeking a highly professional, self-motivated, Country Manager for mainland China with experience developing consulting business in the data center industry across China.  

The China Country Manager, reporting to CEO of IDCA, Asia Pacific, manages and develops market strategies for the China mainland territory, and is responsible for driving the company’s sales organization in China, as well has having a strategic leadership role to lead and support the business unit in the achievement of its overall targets.  

The focus of this business development professional will include data center industry organizations and professionals
for both existing and new accounts in the region.   

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain timely and accurate sales information and tracking through IDCA's CRM. 
  • Facilitate follow-up and provide roll-up reporting to senior management. 
  • Travel in support of IDCA events and on-site business development efforts both domestic and select overseas destinations are requisite for this position. 
  • Work closely with regional sales team, as well as with the global executive team, to identify all strategic, long-term, or portfolio-wide opportunities.
  • Develop and manage incoming leads and ongoing industry outreach, including education of the industry regarding these offerings and the IP upon which they are based. 
  • Spearhead sales activities, identifying new business suspects, prospects and opportunities and nurturing them into the pipeline 
  • Manage maturing leads, supporting scope and price negotiation culminating in a proposal, and initiating the contract phase. 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Business development and market development background with demonstrable success in identifying new prospective customers, building a pipeline, and closing consulting agreements. 
  • Experience and knowledge of the global Data Center market.  
  • Proven leadership, a track record in growing and developing accounts. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing value-added sales of a market-leading industrial product brand.  
  • Capabilit to recognize, explore, and scope consulting services consistent with the focus and mission of IDCA and its service offerings.
  • Proven sales track record exceeding goals with emphasis on securing and expanding profitable customer relationships. 
  • Preference given for candidates with an Intimate knowledge of data center planning, design, construction, and operations—and a track record of selling services in this data center consulting discipline.  
  • Strong verbal and written skills with proven experience in technical subject matter.  
  • Strong networking, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.  
  • A customer-centric approach. 
  • Language Skills: English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently
