Business Development Manager

Job Description 

Reporting to Managing Director to provide professional advice for achieving the strategic objective of identifying and acquiring potential customers. The job holder will also be responsible for developing a strong operation team and build up a global logistics network for the business growth. 

Responsibilities 

· Set up and design a new operation team, and execute a standard cadence to deliver
operational insights with efficiency and strong controls 

· Establish workflows to improve efficacy and efficiency of the operational processes and
unlock new capabilities 

· Create and Develop account strategy and business
development plan  

• Explore new sea/air freight services business opportunities, and drive new business growth 

· Manage and build long-term relationships with customers 

· Sourcing new carrier relations 

Requirements 

· Degree holder 

· 10+ years’ experience in freight forwarding & supply chain at management level with full P&L responsibility, preferably in a medium or large forwarder leading the sales and operations teams 

· Extensive, in-depth knowledge and experience of the global freight forwarding/logistics industry, with a strong commercial focus in large global scales. Ecommerce knowledge is a plus 

· P&L ownership experience 

· Expertise in promoting and developing new business and freight forwarding products 

· Fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua
