Producer / Project Manager | Esports Platform

Responsibilities for Crazy Smart-kids:

• Be a core member of a team of game industry veterans, defining CAPSL’s execution and release schedule, as well as being a key component of our company culture!
• Be responsible for scoping, forecasting, estimating and scheduling the development teams mid-to-long term deliverable
• Collaborate with product, marketing, design and business development teams on those deliverables
• Lead sprint planning sessions, working with the development team to break down work, and scope effort estimates against resource availability
• Coordinate day-to-day with the development team on risks, and mitigations
• Own execution quarterly objectives and key results (OKR)’s
• Understand the key metrics driving schedule execution and costs
• Champion best practices and methodologies for improved efficiencies and work effectiveness
• Be willing to encounter new and unfamiliar situations
• Work in a highly agile environment with limited to no guidance
• Collaborate and effectively communication with different team
• Contribute ideas and clear actions on how to further CAPSL’s mission to Power the Future of Competitive Gaming

Qualifications:

• At least 7+ years experience managing projects, project forecasting and team coordination
• Experience in Scrum, Lean or other Agile project methodologies, ideally with Scrum Master or PMP certificate
• Experience independently managing complex projects across multiple functional teams
• Have in-depth experience of mid to long-term planning, product release forecasting, release management, and change management covering multiple small development teams
• Expert in JIRA and/or other project management scoping, estimating and tracking tools
• Expertise in excel or other forecasting tools
• Can decompose tasks with development team so they are trackable and achievable
• Can execute and coordinate as release manager for product and feature releases
• Have experience contributing and defining roadmaps and the creation process
• Liaise with Product, Marketing and Business development teams regarding dependencies and execution tasks
• Can balance owning development team deliverables and the product needs of the business
• Exceptional communication skills, both orally, written and in presenting to others
• An acute ability to problem solve in a team environment
• A passion for working in the games / esports industry
• An ability to self-start and manage your own time effectively
• Working proficiency in English

Language

• English - Business fluency (Essential)
• Mandarin - Business level and above (bonus)
