Accountant / Senior Accountant

Job Requirements:

• Perform general accounting and tax duties for the company located in HK
• Liaise with various departments, auditors and other professionals in regards to all aspects of financial accounting, management reporting, taxation and audit controls
• Manage account month end closing and preparation of management reports, analysis and account schedules
• Coordinate and drive the team to improve existing workflow in relation to financial reporting
• Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualifications
• Recognized professional accounting qualifications (Student member of HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent professional bodies)
• At least 5 years’ solid working experience in Retail industry
• Proficiency in PC applications including MS Office and Chinese word-processing
• Handle full sets of Accounting (AR, AP, GL, P & L report, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, Management reports)
• Experience in POS systems and SAGE Accounting system is an advantage
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and time management skills
• Hands-on financial reporting experience in a local retail environment is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, independent, strong sense of responsibility & able to work independently under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Accountant
