Job Summary
- Responsible for general accounting functions, including prepare journal entries, maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly closings and account analysis and support the Chief Accountant in carry out the daily operations of the Accounts Department.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of books of the subsidiary company(ies) in which under the management of the DRC
- Support the efficiency of handling AR, AP and General Ledger journal entries in a quality and timely order
- Perform daily accounting functions, including book-keeping sales reconciliations, inventory reconciliations, bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of financial analysis reports and month end closing process
- Assist in cash flow preparation, forecast and analysis
- Liaise with external auditors and other business units for finance and control-related issues
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
- Assist with payroll administration
- Assist in supervising Senior Accounts Clerk / Accounts Clerk on daily operations
- Undertake ad hoc and other related programs / projects as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferably in F&B industry
- Able to handle full set of Accounts
- Familiar with Flex and Xero Accounting software
- Knowledge of Hong Kong statutory accounting and tax regulations
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- More experience will be considered as Accountant
- Immediate available is preferred
