Senior Purchaser / Purchasing Manager

Business: Multinational Textiles Manufacturer  

  

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the  entire flow from placing the material order to suppliers, following up the order status to delivering material to production site  
• Liaise with supplier and monitor their performance to achieve the quality standard  
• Work with Inventory Planning team to execute inventory build-up plan for each product family 
• Initiate and develop processes and procedures necessary to strike for operation excellence 
• Work proactively with other departments like Customer Services, Shipping and Warehouse, Quality, Global Sourcing 
• Prepare cost analysis for management review regularly 
• Assist in ad-hoc business projects as assigned 

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above  
• At least 5-6 years relevant experience in purchasing/procurement 
• Previous experience gained from textile / garment is as assets  
• Good command in English and Chinese 
• Strong and clear analytical mind 
• Proficient in PC applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing, experience in using ERPs is prefer
