Chung Ying Theatre Company

Established in 1979, Chung Ying Theatre Company (‘Chung Ying’) is one of Hong Kong’s professional performing arts companies, dedicating itself to producing quality stage productions and promoting theatrical arts through drama education and outreach programmes. With the immense support from the Home Affairs Bureau, Chung Ying is embarking on a pilot project – “Treasure of Tomorrow: Chung Ying Archive” to preserve treasures and records of Chung Ying. In attempting to celebrate Hong Kong’s theatrical legacy, Chung Ying is committed to collect, digitise and share a selection of materials publicly and encourage further study on Hong Kong’s theatrical art.
