Full Stack Engineer

BOXS is a Hong Kong-based technology startup providing SMART Business solutions to manage, optimize and enhance business processes.

Currently BOXS range of technologies provides solutions for retail, restaurants, education centers, and other business segments.

We are looking for Full Stack Engineers to join the Development Team. The team is responsible for providing engaging and delightful experiences for our Web, iOS, and Android applications. We do that while striving to build modern, extensible, and robust applications. Building on node.js, the applications use such technologies as Vue, MongoDB, Docker, React Native, Expo, Swift, Java, Rust and other. You will join the team in the design, development, maintenance, and monitoring of these applications.

This is a fun and fast-paced environment. If you like to design, write/refactor code, get things done, be challenged with tough problems, and love to work with smart people, BOXS is a company where you will have a lot of fun and get new knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop features within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and shipping applications.
• Investigate, analyze and make recommendations to the team regarding technology improvements, upgrades, and modifications.
• Work directly with CTO, PM and the rest of a fun development team.
• 5 Days a week (negotiable)
• Flexible working hour (usually starting from 10 am)

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate our values in an on-going and consistent way.
• BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent graduate or expected within 18 months.
• Experience with JavaScript or similar object-oriented language.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
• Experience with designing and developing modular cross platform applications.
