Duties:
- Lead and manage all phases of new products development such as designing, costing, quality control and production throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to identify products details and technical specifications.
- Prepare product proposals to meet client’s needs.
- Work with other engineers to solve technical issues, participate in the development of prototype and testing, to ensure quality complies with regulations and certification standards.
- Source and monitor factories for mass production to ensure quality and delivery time
- Perform research and analysis on the latest market trends and innovative technology of new products
- Keep track on consumers insight, product feedback and competitors activities for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in management, electronic, electrical, computer or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in product development of electronic products, familiar with manufacturing industry would be an advantage
- Strong understanding in consumer market, project management, able to meet strict deadlines with good problem-solving skills
