Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical strategy for our SaaS platform's international expansion (APAC, EU, NA).
- Build and mentor a distributed engineering team (frontend, backend, DevOps).
- Design fault-tolerant, secure systems capable of handling high-volume global traffic.
- Solve complex cross-border technical hurdles, including multi-currency payment gateways, tax compliance, and localization.
- Drive CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices architecture.
- Partner with the Product team to translate merchant pain points into technical solutions.
- Ensure platform compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and regional regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years leading SaaS or technology
teams. - Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, Node.js/Python/Go, and modern frontend stacks (React/Vue).
- Proven success in scaling B2B SaaS platforms; e-commerce experience is a strong plus.
- Deep knowledge of cross-border technologies, including payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen), OMS, and localization.
- Fluency in APAC and EMEA tech regulations and security standards.
- Strong communication skills (proficiency in English required; Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
