Responsibilities  

  • Own the end-to-end technical strategy for our SaaS platform's international expansion (APAC, EU, NA). 
  • Build and mentor a distributed engineering team (frontend, backend, DevOps). 
  • Design fault-tolerant, secure systems capable of handling high-volume global traffic. 
  • Solve complex cross-border technical hurdles, including multi-currency payment gateways, tax compliance, and localization. 
  • Drive CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices architecture. 
  • Partner with the Product team to translate merchant pain points into technical solutions. 
  • Ensure platform compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and regional regulations. 

Requirements & Qualifications  

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years leading SaaS or technology
    teams. 
  • Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, Node.js/Python/Go, and modern frontend stacks (React/Vue). 
  • Proven success in scaling B2B SaaS platforms; e-commerce experience is a strong plus. 
  • Deep knowledge of cross-border technologies, including payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen), OMS, and localization. 
  • Fluency in APAC and EMEA tech regulations and security standards. 
  • Strong communication skills (proficiency in English required; Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable). 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
