Building Officer (Job ref: BO-1835-ADC)

With the support of the Government, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (“HKADC”) is developing more arts spaces for the arts community. The HKADC is now looking for a suitable candidate to assist Building Manager in the project management and hand-over of arts space in various locations.

Responsibilities:•To facilitate the liaison with architects, consultants, contractors, professionals and relevant bureau/departments of the Government•To assist in vetting technical drawings and checking building features during testing and commissioning stage•To assist in the procurement or to draft specifications for equipment for arts space use•To support arts space related meetings by preparing reference materials, drawings, etc

Requirements:•Degree holder in Building Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines•Minimum 4 years relevant working experience, preferably experience gained from property developer, consultancy firm and on government projects•Proactive, well-organised, multi-tasking and able to work under pressure•Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese•Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing•Proficiency in AutoCAD and graphic software would be an advantage•After office working hours and outside office duties may be required occasionally
