Building Officer (Job ref: BO-1835-ADC)
•To take charge of any research projects initiated by the Council, and to supervise the collection of data and statistics for any potential research items and council research activities/programmes•To provide administrative and management support to the assigned art form group, including preparation of papers and minutes, and to take charge of the associated projects•To assist the Research & Development Senior Manager in the initiation and planning of policy proposals and documents including but not limited to data collection and analysis, conducting consultations, forums, opinion surveys for major cultural planning and issues, and drafting of papers and documents•To take charge of proactive, partnership or other projects in relation to the content development of the Arts Information Centres under the Research & Development Department•To supervise the Research Officers and temporary clerk(s)
•University degree, knowledge in disciplines like social science, knowledge management, cultural management or arts related discipline would be advantageous•Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the research field, with proven experience in analyzing, organizing, presenting data and project management•Ability to work on research projects independently and highly motivate•A strong sense of responsibility, well organised, good interpersonal skills and analytical skills•Good communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua will be an advantage•Proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word ProcessingSalary offered will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
