The appointee will be responsible for admissions, student records, assessments and various postgraduate student matters. Other duties such as support of committees, system development and project work may also be assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements as set out on the website: http://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 8 years’ post-qualification executive experience, preferably with a track record of postgraduate programme administration and committee support; (iv) an excellent command of both English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (vii) the ability to manage multiple projects independently; and (viii) good analytical ability with strong computer skills.  Those with less but at least 3 years’ post-qualification executive experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
