Chung Ying is seeking Temporary Archive Helpers to assist the work of the Archive. Under the supervision of the Archivist, the Archive Helpers will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in preservation work, such as cleaning of paper documents
- Support in cataloguing and data entry
- Assist in repackaging, shelving of archival materials as needed
- Coordinate in archive-specific activities
- Perform other clerical and administrative work needed
Applications are welcome from individuals who are interested in theatrical arts, history, and/or archive, with good attention to detail, fluent in both Chinese and English, and the ability to work independently.
Location: 10 Borrett Road, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong
Duration: 1 August to 30 September 2019. (Available to work at least two days per week)
Reimbursement: HK$55-60 per hour
