PR Account Executive (Chinese)

Stir Public Relations is a strategically creative boutique communications agency specializing in Food and Beverage, and Lifestyle PR.

We are looking for a highly driven PR Account Executive to help deliver our clients’ campaigns. Our ideal candidate as 1-2 years’ experience, is a natural story-teller who is very plugged into what shapes the hearts and minds of Hong Kong, has established local media and KOL contacts, and is highly motivated self-starter.

This Role Includes

• Managing account delivery
• Contributing to projects and client integrated PR campaigns
• Media, blogger and influencer relations
• Meeting with clients and day-to-day client liaison
• Compilation of media lists and databases
• Compilation of weekly media coverage and articles of interest, distributed to clients in a timely manner
• Writing evaluation and coverage reports
• On-site event support
• Execution of effective media relations outreach under the direction of a supervisor/mentor, regularly securing top tier media placements

Competencies - Examples Include

• 2-4 years of experience at a PR Agency or local Media Publication-- with demonstrable good understanding of PR best practices in the F+B sector. (Fresh graduates will not be considered).
• Networked- existing media, blogger and influencer relationships in Hong Kong
• Writing- impeccable crafting, storytelling and grammar with experience creating and translating press releases and press pitches
• Language- Native Cantonese speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English, as well as proficiency in MS Office, Chinese typing
• Self-starter- A proactive and innovative problem-solver, you are exhilarated by the opportunity to own entire projects and assignments. You feel totally comfortable being autonomous.
• Detail-oriented — Can spot a typo a mile away, diligent with formatting, double checks everything twice and never forgets or misses a deadline.
• Efficiency- masters their own to-do list. Is able to work autonomously but knows when to ask for help, guidance or support.
• Adaptability —You adjust quickly to changing priorities and cope effectively with complexity and change.
