About the Job Vacancy

PAM Group is looking for candidates who has previous experience in working in the asset management industry or financial services industry who is keen to expand their knowledge and experience, particularly by working with entrepreneurs and growing enterprises. The tasks will be relevant to risk management and internal controls, compliance and regulatory tasks, accounting and audit, mid to back office support and consultancy for financial services clients, particularly regarding asset management.

Selected candidates will

  • be given industry exposure, learn about regulatory requirements and serve client's needs in a multitude of practical and real life situations
  • have the opportunity to meet with clients and draft documents and reports for use by clients
  • be supervised by industry experts that can develop their professional network as well as give them pointers on developing their career path in the financial services industry
  • have access to professional and industry seminars and events as a representative of the company
  • gain comprehensive, practical and applicable front, mid and back office experience in the financial services industry, especially alternative investment and potentially audit industry
  • receive training and industry knowledge on the latest regulatory and statutory developments relating to the asset management industry

Job duties:

  • General administrative support
  • Basic accounting, book keeping, expense claims and invoicing
  • Legal and compliance support, drafting of contracts, term sheets, sales pitches, filling in regulator's forms, drafting regulated business plans, drafting compliance manuals, drafting policies and procedures for clients etc
  • Candidates must be able to meet clients and attend industry events on behalf of the company
  • Willing to perform any ad-hoc task as assigned no matter how basic or complex
  • Candidates must be able to perform independent research into assigned work areas

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in related field of Business, Accountancy, Law, Finance etc.
  • One plus year of working experience, preferably in alternative investment and audit industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident in spoken and written presentation in both English and Chinese. (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Basic administrative skills and experience
  • FinTech experience, knowledge and those with higher IT skills will be given preferential consideration
  • Able to work under time pressure
  • Ability to work as a team player and complete assigned tasks independently, with guidance of supervisor(s)
  • May be required to travel to PRC (Shenzhen or Guangzhou) and work overtime
  • May be seconded to client offices and other offices of the Company in Hong Kong

Job format:

  • Full Time, 9am -6pm Monday to Friday
  • Bank Holidays Off
  • No overtime remuneration
  • Statutory Employment Compensation Insurance coverage and MPF
  • Annual Leave in accordance with prevalent statutory requirements

Remuneration:

  • Depending on candidates’ experiences
