ESG Blockchain Research Associate

Job Description

•⁠ ⁠Conduct in-depth research on ESG initiatives (e.g., plastic credits and carbon credits) and explore how blockchain technology can enhance their traceability, transparency, and accountability.

•⁠ ⁠Analyze and develop blockchain-based frameworks to support sustainability projects and ESG reporting.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and test proof-of-concept solutions for leveraging blockchain in environmental credit systems.

•⁠ ⁠Research global trends, policies, and standards for ESG and blockchain integration, ensuring alignment with international best practices.

•⁠ ⁠Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.

•⁠ ⁠Stay informed about emerging technologies in blockchain, IoT, and AI and their applications to ESG and sustainability.

Job Requirement:

•⁠ ⁠Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Electrical & Information Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or related disciplines).

- Passion for sustainability, ESG projects, and innovative technologies.

•⁠ ⁠Basic knowledge of blockchain technology, with a willingness to learn platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or other distributed ledger systems.

•⁠ ⁠Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize technical and environmental concepts.

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or data analysis tools is a plus.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

•⁠ ⁠Eagerness to explore emerging technologies like IoT or AI in the context of ESG solutions.
