Finance Consultant – China Market

Duties:

· Provide expert financial consulting to Hong Kong companies setting up or operating businesses in China

· Advise clients on market entry strategies from a financial perspective, including optimal business structures (WFOE, JV, Rep Office) and tax efficiency.

· Translate complex Chinese accounting standards and local tax regulations into actionable insights for Hong Kong and international clients.

· Assist clients with company formation, registration, and ongoing statutory compliance in China.

· Liaise with local Chinese banks, tax bureaus, and government authorities on behalf of clients to resolve compliance issues.

· Design and deliver training sessions to internal staff on China-specific finance, accounting, and business practices.

· Support the business development team in pitching to prospective clients by demonstrating deep expertise in the China market landscape.

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field

· Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role in China, experience in a client-facing or consultancy role is highly advantageous.

· Solid understanding of Chinese financial regulations, taxation, cross-border transactions, and currency controls.

· Proven experience in company formation, compliance, and corporate structuring in China.

· Fluent in Mandarin is a must

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
