Research Analyst - Automotive Sector

 Duties: 

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on the electric vehicle (EV) and new energy vehicle (NEV) industries, including their manufacturing supply chains.  
• Perform on-site visits and verify financial data to assess industry trends and corporate fundamentals.  
• Analyze the business models, supply chain management, operations, and competitiveness of listed automotive companies, with a focus on operational logic to support investment decisions.  
• Develop industry reports and insights for the investment team, supporting portfolio managers in creating new products and strategic initiatives. 
• Keep abreast of industry developments, corporate operational changes, supply chain fluctuations both upstream and downstream, and shifts in the competitive landscape within the automotive sector. 
• Oversee the progress and activities of companies within the portfolio, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop future exit strategies and timelines. 

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus. 
• Over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry. 
• In-depth understanding of automotive industry dynamics, including EV trends, regulatory landscape, and supply chain issues. 
• Proficient in both English and Chinese.
