Part Time Event Assistant
Job Purpose
The position will be responsible for supporting the Community events at the SPCA, aim to provide support for the
planning and execution of various events.
Roles & Responsibilities
(1) Support the Community team in the planning and coordination of the events.
(2) Assist with managing vendor relationships, including caterers, AV providers, venues, and other event suppliers.
(3) Help prepare materials and other collateral as needed.
(4) Manage event- related logistics, such as scheduling, transportation, equipment supply, etc.
(5) Provide on-site support to the event, including event setting, registration, greeting guests, etc.
(6) Participate in post-event debriefing and help compile feedback, attendance data, and other event metrics.
(7) Perform other event-related duties as assigned.
Qualification
(1) HKDSE graduate or equivalent education.
Requirements
(1) At least 1-year relevant experience in project coordination, customer enquiries, database management and stakeholder management.
(2) Confident and outgoing, good conversationist with anyone from a diverse background.
(3) Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
(4) Able to work independently under tight timeline.
(5) Problem-solver and resourceful.
(6) Good command English and Cantonese (spoken and written).
(7) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
(8) Willing to work after office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
(9) Genuine interest in the welfare of all animals.
