Silver Jewelry Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities 

• Source supplies for finished jewelry products 

• Monitor quality and manage vendors 

• Source suppliers for finished products and components 

• Monitor quality and manage vendors to make sure supplies are in accordance to the requirements 

• Selection of styles for new collection, visiting factories and attending exhibitions and fairs 

• Ensure the materials meet the relevant statutory and/or users’ requirements 

• Handle all matters relating to the material specification, standards, testing and validation 

• Assist and work with R&D Manager on New Product Development to match marketing requirements including quotations, samples and orders follow up 

• Assist in the development of a suitable suppliers development strategy and roadmap

Job Requirements  

• Bachelor degree from any or related discipline 
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Jewelry, preferably focus in development and purchasing 
• Possess knowledge in silver or diamond is a MUST 
• Project management skills 
• Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin 
• Familiar in using MS Office 
• Some trips to vendor’s factories in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou when required (not frequent)
