Job Description

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting or finance
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the securities industry
  • At least 2 years’ involvement in offshore bond issuance by PRC-based local government financing vehicles (LGFVs)
  • Familiarity with government procurement procedures, including extensive involvement in tendering for PRC government contracts
  • Extensive contacts and life experience in Central China, notably the City of Wuhan and surrounding areas, is not a necessary requirement but a definite asset
  • Great organization, leadership and communication skills

Duties:

  • Coordinate the research effort to identify the offshore financings needs for LGFVs in Central China
  • Develop strategic relationships with PRC financial institutions with capacity in Central China with a view of jointly originate LGFV offshore financing engagements
  • Organizing and leading internal tendering team, including setting its process, procedures and ethical standards
  • Supporting the Company’s debt capital markets origination team by providing research regarding target clients and logistical support in seeking local alliances in Central China

Compensation:

  • HK$15,000 monthly base, plus generous performance-based bonuses
