We are a dynamic, growing insurance brokerage firm committed to delivering exceptional client services. Join our Accounting team as an experienced Accounting Officer to handle full-set accounts with a focus on brokerage-specific needs like commission handling and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities-
- Manage full-set accounting: AR/AP, GL, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Calculate, allocate and reconcile commissions and premiums accurately
- Liaise with company secretary on compliance matters, including Business Registration (BR) renewal, company registration updates, and statutory filings
- Coordinate with banks for commercial account openings, client accounts, and related banking transactions
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations; support budgeting, forecasting and audits
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal teams; handle ad-hoc financial projects
Requirements-
- Degree in Accounting / Finance; 2-3+ years' experience (insurance brokerage preferred)
- Strong Excel / Accounting software skills; commission calculation knowledge a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Good command of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
- Detail-oriented, analytical and proactive
