Project Assistant II
The appointee will mainly assist in the publication and activities of the College Office. Duties include (a) providing general clerical support and handling enquiries; (b) assisting in organising the College’s activities, programmes and other functions; (c) assisting in the implementation of the College’s activities and programmes via website, publications and other channels; (d) providing support to other student and educational programmes of the College; and (e) performing other duties as assigned. Occasional work beyond normal office hours will be needed.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate typing in both Chinese and English; (iv) proficiency in computer applications, including MicroSoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher) and Adobe Photoshop; (v) an effective command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (vi) a strong sense of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills and a self-motivated work attitude; and (vii) good organisational skills with strong common sense. Hands-on experience in designing printed and electronic publicity materials will be advantageous.
Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
