UniFamily Advisory operates on a global basis and it is located in HongKong . At UniFamily, we are devoted to accelerating the development and adoption of technologies that can help fight climate change by actively removing CO2 from the atmosphere.We empower companies to compensate for unavoidable emissions through portfolios of carbon removal projects. UniFamily’s portfolios aggregate and broker the best suppliers and smart technologies ranging from forestry and soil sequestration to biochar and direct air capture. We are looking for someone to head our technical development and be part of an ambitious start-up that strives to be the leading broker of carbon removal solutions. We collaborate with forward-thinking farmers, value chain companies, conservation organizations and ag retailers to help better deliver the future of on-farm sustainability. 

POSITION SUMMARY

A Managing Director is the Manager of the highest rank in a company and is responsible for its success .As our MD, you will be also responsible for developing and maintaining our system in close collaboration with the management team. You will be an active part of developing our technical and product roadmap and overall technical strategy.We expect that you are able to work hands on with development and setting the right strategic direction for tech and business management. 

DUTIES, VALUES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in close collaboration with IT Team from the Lux Research Inc. to ensure technical strategy and roadmap for development are clearly stated and focused on achievement of stated goals

• Familiar with Mainland China technology IP policies and strong public relations with local government.

• Carry out day-to-day activities including respond to inquiries, draft proposals and invoices, prepare grant applications and reports, communicate with Lux consultant Teams/ external auditors,compliance/ external project managers on all needs including marketing, technical solution, business proposal and logistical

• Managing the external development team and building our in-house capabilities and team;Building and maintaining our system (eg. Internal admin, public record (inventory), client dashboard)

• Build and test as much as possible while preparing for scaling;Analyzing problematic situations and providing solutions for ensuring company’s growth ;

• Acting as the company’s public speaker or public relations representative for the purpose of strengthening its profile

• Participate in developing our proprietary algorithms and database structure in collaboration with the analyst team

• Proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience

• In-depth understanding of industry and market changes as well as the market factors influencing the company

• Strong technical skills and coding abilities

• Be structured and able to multi-task across projects, set clear goals, and ensure that we are on track - either individually or as a team.

• Experience working in collaboration with the design team and the ability to transform concepts into developed products, preferably within the Smart Technology,Sass and Pass

• Excellent communications skills with the ability to motivate and direct people

• Experience with social media tools and examples of engagement through social media

• Flexible work schedule that aligns projects and performances

• Strong verbal as well as written communication skills

• At least a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field

• Fluently in using both English and Chinese
