Technical Representative / Sales Support Officer

We are a dynamic and growing company committed to delivering high-quality insurance solutions and professional client service. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and service-driven Technical Representative to join our team.
This role plays a vital part in supporting our insurance operations, including handling policy documentation, liaising with insurers, coordinating underwriting and claims processes, and ensuring smooth technical administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of insurance products and workflows, and a dedication to providing accurate and timely support to both internal teams and clients.
Key responsibilities-
- Understand clients’ needs and assist in selecting suitable insurance products, providing professional advice throughout the application process
- Manage and follow through the entire insurance application, including resolving any outstanding or pending issues until the policy is successfully issued
- Handle client requests and deliver quality after-sales service
- Ensure all required insurance documents are complete and properly prepared before submission to insurer / Policy Administration for filing
- Attend regular professional training to stay updated on the latest regulations from local authorities and insurance companies, as well as product knowledge and preferential terms, in order to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements-
- Diploma holder or above, with at least 2 years of solid experience in the insurance industry
- Familiar with local underwriting procedures and various insurance product structures; experience in client servicing within an insurance brokerage firm is preferred
- Holder of IIQE Certificate Paper 1 and 3
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Skilled in computer operations in both Chinese and English, including MS Word, Excel, and Chinese input methods
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
