We are currently recruiting a Health Coach Nurse to join our customer facing activities all while supporting medically relevant Marketing Activities (Trainings etc). We are looking for bright individuals, with nursing experience, who want to have a meaningful role.  

General Job description:

The Health Coach Nurse’s role bridges health coaching and patient engagement, serving as contact for patients and insurance agents regarding Medix’s services. 

Main Responsibilities:

· Explaining the exact nature and added values of our service, while assessing the needs of
the patient, understanding and managing the expectations of the Patient and / or his/her family. 

· Respond to Patient and Agent inquiries via phone, email, and digital communication platforms with regards to specific cases.

· Be part of Medical Teams assigned to specific medical cases and offer health related support and health coaching. Support senior Nurses and Doctors in managing medical cases. 

· Ensure a high level of Patient satisfaction through professional, proactive and empathic
communication. 

· Provide medical administrative support to Case Nurses, Doctors and customers. 

· Document patient interactions and engagement activities in internal systems. 

· Monitor feedback from patients and agents and provide insights to improve services and
marketing activities. Obtaining and organizing all medical documents and information needed to manage the case. Reviewing all the medical information to deeply understand the case. 

· Coordinating all parties involved in the medical case: the Patient and his/her family; the Case Manager Nurse and Doctor; the medical specialists locally; and other relevant medical parties. Follow up and handle all medical needs. Run meetings and phone calls, ensuring the patient medical management is executed in the best possible way.  

· Support the marketing team in the development and execution of health-related marketing
initiatives. 

· Provide clinical input to ensure the accuracy and quality of medical information used in marketing communications. 

· Participate in webinars, training sessions, or informational meetings with customers, agents and partners. 

· Assist with promotional activities related to healthcare services and programs. 

· Establish a close relationship with the Patient and his/her family and be fully acquainted with his/her medical case. Be a positive driver in successful participation and work according to the highest service level agreements aside the assigned Case Nurse. 

· Support the Case Nurse in identifying and monitoring the Patient and his/her medical condition and overall well-being: support in symptoms and complications management and care coordination support. 

· Ensuring that all Medix medical policies and protocols are followed correctly.  

· Participate in meetings with the Global Medical Director with regards to medical challenges
and opportunities and medical patient / case reporting and analysis of future needs. 

· Specific Add Hoc Health Related Projects 

Job Requirements:

· 2–3 years of experience as a Registered / Enrolled Nurse. 

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

· Ability to explain simple medical concepts clearly to non-medical audiences. 

· Experience working with patients, healthcare providers, or insurance agents is an advantage. 

· Strong organizational and coordination skills. 

· Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, additional languages are an advantage. 

· Assertive and proactive professional. 

· Strong Writing Skills & Computer Proficiency  

· Patient Care Orientated - Courteous and strong focus on Empathy. 

· Public Speaking and Training capabilities and experience.  

· Structured, Passionate, Self-motivated and independent.
