Director of Investment and Financing

Job Responsibilities 

1. End-to-End Investment Management

· Proactively source, screen, and evaluate high-quality investment targets in alignment with the company's strategic direction, with a focus on cross-border payments and other overseas expansion-related sectors

· Independently conduct industry research, business analysis, financial modeling, and valuation analysis to produce investment decision recommendations

· Lead due diligence, deal structuring, term negotiation, and investment agreement signing to drive projects from initiation to closing

· Build the post-investment management framework; actively add value to portfolio companies through regular reviews, resource connectivity, and strategic synergy, while tracking and enhancing investment returns

2. Financing Execution and Capital Operations Support

· Assist management in advancing equity financing, including financing proposal preparation, investor outreach, due diligence coordination, and deal closing

· Maintain long-term relationships with VC/PE firms, strategic investors, and industrial capital; manage investor communications and information updates

· Monitor capital market developments and evaluate opportunities for M&A, strategic partnerships, and other capital operations, providing analytical support

3. Industry Research and Strategic Insights

· Establish a systematic industry research framework to conduct sector mapping, trend assessment, and competitive landscape analysis, providing data-driven support for investment and strategic decisions

· Monitor policy, regulatory, and technology trends in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia to identify business opportunities and risks

· Regularly produce industry research reports and investment insights to support management in formulating mid- to long-term development direction

 

 

Job Requirements

1. Education

· Bachelor's degree or above from top-tier universities, preferably in Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields; overseas Master's degree is a plus

· CFA charterholder or having passed CFA Level II or above is preferred

2. Work Experience

· 8+ years of work experience, including investment management experience at leading VC/PE firms, with a proven track record of leading the full investment lifecycle from deal sourcing to closing

· Prior experience in strategy or business analysis at top-tier internet/technology companies is preferred; familiarity with data-driven decision-making methodologies

· Investment experience in fintech, payments, cross-border e-commerce, or corporate overseas expansion is preferred

· Experience in post-investment management and value-added services for portfolio companies is preferred

3. Core Competencies

· Strong industry research and business insight capabilities, with the ability to distill key judgments through systematic analytical frameworks

· Solid financial modeling and valuation skills, proficient in investment return analysis and deal structuring

· Excellent data analysis capabilities, adept at driving business decisions with quantitative models

· Strong negotiation and deal execution skills, with the ability to independently drive complex projects to completion

· Good cross-functional communication and project management skills, able to coordinate resources across multiple parties to achieve objectives
