School/Unit: School of Nursing & Health Studies Closing Date: 28/Sep/2018, 11:59:00 PM  

The University is seeking an experienced individual to assist in the development of mobile application software for the project “Mobile Applications for Health Management Service in Community”.  The project aims at promoting and improving health in society with a view to improving user’s attitude on health management strategy.

 

A mobile app on two platforms, iOS and Android, will be developed to assist the electronic input by patients. The mobile app services include but are not limited to:

 

(1) Medication Reminder;

(2) Follow-up Reminder;

(3) OCR Input;

(4) Medication Record; and

(5) Drug Information.

 

Requirements

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of post-qualification working experience in information technology or similar area.  Experience in mobile application development and project management would be an advantage.  Applicants must also be proficient in written English.

 

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract.  Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits and life insurance coverage, where applicable.
