 Job Duties: 

  • Assist Manager to ensure proper handling of oversize, heavy or specialized cargo shipments.
  • Assist Manager to prepare Method Statements, Transportation Plan, and other necessary documents and to work on planning and execution of specialized cargo shipments.
  • Communicate with shipper, consignee, vendors, suppliers, site etc. as necessary to ensure smooth delivery of cargo. 
  • Onsite support in supervision of loading/unloading, delivery, and coordination of project move.
  • Ensure project details are entered into internal system. 
  • Handle export and import documentation. 

Skills and knowledge requirements:  

  • Degree Holder with minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Logistics industry 
  • Experience with Out of Gauge (OOG)/Over dimensional (OD) cargo movements is an advantage 
  • Understanding of Cargo Securing, Stowing, Rigging and Craning is an advantage 
  • Knowledge in Export and Import regulations 
  • Confident communication skills, including oral and written skills
  • Possess a strong sense of customer service and adaptability 
  • Ability to handle daily tasks independently 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Team player, reliable, confident, energetic and tolerant to stress 
  • Less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer
