Duties
The appointee(s) will be responsible for providing support to deliver programmes offered by the School, including those conducted in mainland China and/or delivered in distance learning mode; for supporting committee work and daily activities of the School and for assisting in the liaison with both internal and external parties, including overseas partners, especially in relation to programme promotion. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of Academic Support Officer.
Requirements
For Assistant Academic Support Officer, applicants should attain at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics. Good communication skills in English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua is an advantage) and computer skills are required.
For Academic Support Officer, applicants should possess a recognized bachelor’s degree with some administrative experience and exposure in the tertiary education sector. Good computer, organization, interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua) are also required.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a trade test.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits and life insurance coverage, where applicable.
