Duties
The appointee shall report to the Director of Public Affairs and be responsible for leading the PR and DevelopmentTeam of the Public Affairs Unit to support senior management in fundraising and donation-related matters, oversee the budgeting, planning and execution of University events and build relationship with the media. He/she will also support the Unit in other aspects such as corporate communications and marketing.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a relevant recognized degree and substantial relevant work experience. He/she should have rich experience and strength in coordinating public relations and fundraising events, handling media as well as working with external and internal clients. Experience in marketing and publications is an advantage. He/she must have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. He/she should also possess good analytical skills and be proficient in computer applications, including Chinese word processing.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese.
Suitable candidates with less experience may be considered for a lower position.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, where applicable.
