Job Info
the FAA Inspector’s role includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are in compliance with pertinent FAA regulations, manufacturer’s technical data/approved supplements, RSM/QCM and customer requirements
- Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition.
- Perform and have oversight of inspection activity.
- Report all quality related issues to management.
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders.
- Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress and final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station (as authorized) and assuring proper recording of results.
- Perform repairs when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A&P License or Airframe License required.
- Practical experience in aviation maintenance required.
- Ability to make quality decisions and effectively solve problems.
- Ability to read technical publications and drawing and comfortable with the use of computer.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills
