Reports To:

  • Founder and Head of School
  • Co-Founder and Executive Director
  • School Coordinator

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of minutes of meetings and report, (Staff meeting, SMC meetings, Leadership meetings), including drafting and proofreading correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes.
  •  Distribution of emails and correspondence with parents, to follow up with parents with submission of required documents in time.
  • Translation Chinese to English or English to Chinese - written in presentations. 
  • Setting up a system and maintenance of student records.
  • Support with Enrichment, including follow up with contracts and service providers, liaison with janitors on how to set up space, follow up with parents in case of emergency.
  • Assist with enrollment and liaison with parents for all external and internal competitions. Help with ushering the team to sports events and competition.
  • Support reception duties.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects.

 

Requirements:
 

  • University degree or above in English Literature, public relations or related disciplines
  • High proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal communication), fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset
  • Matured, well organized, able to work under pressure and independently
  • Flexible and able to take on new jobs the school needed
  • Experience working in a school is highly preferred
  • Handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Responsible, detail-minded, diligent, and flexible when working on multiple tasks
  • Proactive and a positive “can do” spirit
  • Excellent computer skills, including Google Drive, database management, and English & Chinese typing
  • Immediate availability will be an advantage
