(Senior) Barista

Roles & Responsibilities

· Have a full understanding of the coffee culture and is keen to connect and share such knowledge with guests.
· Greet and serve guests in a personalized, polite and friendly manner.
· Take orders and process card and cash payments with care.
· Prepare and serve all food & beverage items on the menu; collect feedback from guests and provide recommendations on the menu items to the management.
· Generate revenue by attracting new customers and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the coffee industry trends, culture and market.
· Maintain a high standard of sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene in the café in accordance with health and safety regulations.
· Order, receive and distribute stock supplies; conduct regular stocktake.
· Assist with monitoring the float and closing duties, including storing reusable goods, noting breakages, and returning equipment to proper locations.
· Handle guests’ complaints and resolve issues in a prompt and professional manner. 

Requirements:

· 1 -2 years’ experience in café operations serving high quality coffee in a fast-paced environment.
· Hotel working experience is preferred but not essential.
· Passionate about coffee and is interested in connecting with people.
· Mature, pleasant, detail-minded, customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
· Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset.
· Good communication skills and high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese.
