Job Description
Position Title: Pricing Analyst
Reports to: Head of Data
Key Relationships: Business Intelligence & Operations
Job Purpose: Evaluate the effectiveness of existing pricing and to formulate data-driven reports to increase competitiveness and maximize profits
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete cost analysis of new and existing partners and shipping lanes across all markets, lanes and commodities.
- Research and report on competitiveness compared to competitors in all markets and segments.
- Develop and deliver influential dashboards that summarize analyses and drive effective business decisions and negotiations with partners.
Skills & Personal Qualities:
- 1+ years of experience in an analytical role;
- Proficient in financial analysis and financial modeling;
- Experience in logistics industry a plus;
- Intellectual curiosity and self-motivated;
- Exceptional communication and business partnering skills;
- Ability to present and defend findings to senior executives;
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Advanced MS Excel user;
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or a related field
