Job Info

 Responsibilities: 

  • Be fully prepared for scheduled classes either on-campus or online as required
  • Undertake additional research and resource development as required to deliver the teaching points to students in the most effective and inspirational ways
  • Deliver high quality teaching for all classes
  • Take responsibility as an assigned course coordinator to supervise planning, resources, and curriculum for the course and ensure the course runs smoothly at each campus it is taught at 
  • Lead open and sharing classes for parents/caregivers to demonstrate students' achievements 
  • Communicate with parents/caregivers as required to discuss their children's progress 
  • Participate in teaching events, festivals, exhibitions, as required Write student assessments and provide input to student reference letters
  • Ensure the health and safety of students in your care at all times 

Requirement:

  • Passion in teaching
  • Good communication skills with children 
  • High proficiency in English writing and speaking
  • Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts 
  • At least 1 year of experience in teaching arts at a school or learning centre
